Is it bad? That...
I can't stay mad at anyone.
I don't know it's a strength or a weakness,
A blessing or a curse.
I can't hate people.
I am not good at revenge.
And I can't fake feelings.
Sometimes, I wish I could...
Though deep down, I know,
I couldn't.
Though deep down, I know,
I couldn't.

It's weird how someone can make you feel so good over distance.
"...I don't know, but you think this through as if I'm a strong woman!" said I, frustratingly to Gordon over our conversation on the phone. The call has been going on for an hour and a half. It's typical. Especially if I have something to talk about.
I always can whine out about things to him. "You ARE a strong woman, aren't you?" Gordon replied. And God, that was the thing I needed to hear. I shed a tear or two without letting him know (of course!) and... I smiled! I didn't know who to thank first - God or Gordon.
After a long pause I said, "...well, I am. Thank you so much for reminding me."
"Good, now don't act like you're not."
Gordon, you might not discover this. But, this is for you. Thank you for lighting up my day, you have no idea how good I feel right now.

A Youth Written in Fire
"There was lightning then and those songs were all proved true,
No wonder I still think so much about you."

But there never seems to be enough time to do the things you want to do, once you find them
I've looked around enough to know that you're the one I want to go through time with.

An Excerpt from Alanis Morisette, "Everything"
“I’m the funniest woman that you’ve ever known
I’m the dullest woman that you’ve ever known
I’m the most gorgeous woman that you’ve ever known, and you’ve never met anyone
As everything as I am sometimes”

First Day of My Life by Bright Eyes
And you said
"This is the first day of my life
I'm glad I didn't die before I met you
But now I don't care, I could go anywhere with you
And I'd probably be happy"
Happy anniversary, my dear
God bless our love

Summertime of Gee and LynZ Way
When was the last time you feel so emotionally involved in a song?
Mine was so long ago I think. But today, I feel like crying and shouting and cheering so emotional even though I have repeated the song for the whole day. I think I have managed to jump into Gerard Way’s emotion in a song he wrote for his wife, Lindsey Way (we all know which song and it is indeed a beautiful song). The more I listen to this song, the more I realize that it is about his dependency, about how pure and naked Gerard’s feelings when he is with Lindsey.
I don’t think I have heard any better love songs lately, this one came out when I was in high school. Probably, my emotions were mixed up with things that happened in my high school year, precisely on the period when this song came out. For the record, I have been a fan of Gerard since middle school. I was 13. Growing up learning about Gerard's struggles only made me fall for him more. He’s a gem, his feelings are always true. Take a look at every My Chemical Romance’s albums, it resembled what the band had been through, or to be more specific, what Gerard – as the frontman, had been through.
Their last studio album was Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. In it, track number 11 could have been just another soft song from My Chemical Romance, the song which I've been talking about, called 'Summertime'. But though, I don’t think fans could just easily get by with this album without acknowledging this song. It is indeed a really beautiful emo love song. Gerard was crying out and begging about not leaving him alone to Lindsey.
Beautiful. This is not just a blind love, not a blind feeling of falling for a person for the sake of whatever reasons. But this is a realization, that you are a better person with them. That your liabilities could be tackled away easily when they are around. This is a true feeling of being with someone, whom you think can save you from the darkness.
Thank you Gerard, It's been 12 years now and I still am a fan of your talents.

"Terrified of what I'd be
As a kid, from what I've seen
Every single day, when people try
And put the pieces back together
Just to smash them down
Turn my headphones up, real loud
I don't think I need them, now
'Cause you stop the noise"

We All Want A Simple Life
I remember waking up in the morning
To the sound of rain
And the smell of fried eggs from the kitchen
As my mum was prepping for breakfast
I remember putting on my favorite record
Right after I came home from school
I danced as my grandma giggled
For she liked my dance moves
I remember falling asleep in front of the telly
I was watching my favorite show
My dad tucked me to bed while I fast asleep
I woke up in my room the next day with a slight confusion
I had a simple life
That I don't want to forget
We all have that simple life once
And we all want a simple life now
Then someday,
I will have that simple life again
I will be that mum who preps breakfast for my children
I will be that grandma who giggles at my grandchild's dances
I will have that husband who will tuck my children to bed
We all want that simple life
We all want to feel like we belong somewhere
We all want to feel loved
We all want to be surrounded
Safe to say
That my simple life
Is to have a family
To be loved and surrounded
By those you truly love
That is my vision
Of having a simple life
